Recent Work- Profoto Batpac Fashion Shoot
Recently I had the opportunity to take the new Profoto Batpac out for a spin. I wanted to create photos with a Bohemian feel on location, as most of my non-automotive work has been in the studio.
I coordinated with clothing designer Kareenas Trends, makeup artist Evelyn Sanabria and models Diana Butova and Klaudia McDonald to make this happen. I am very pleased with the way this shoot turned out thanks to the hard work of everyone involved. Full blog posting soon to come on the Profoto Blog.

Dear Mr. Chavez
These images are superb, I use the Profoto D1′s and I am about to buy the Octa but may buy the Batpac instead, could you tell me which light shapers you have used here, I am really impressed, well done,
Tim Collins.

Tim-
Thank you for your kind words. I used a single D1 1000 AIR with Glass Dome powered by the Batpac with a Softlight Reflector. I used the sun as my rim light. The final shot with the blowing dress was taken mid-day with the sun as my Key and the bare D1 (using built in reflector) as fill just out of the right side of the frame. The Batpac is a wonderful tool and something that I am glad to have in my arsenal. My thoughts are that you can always rent the Octa, but for now, not many rental houses (specifically LA) stock the Batpac. There will be a new blog post on the Profoto Blog that goes live very soon that explains the details of this shoot and the Batpac.
