About

I know what you are thinking- “Who the heck is this guy writing this blog?”  Well, I think I can help you out with that one…

I am a photographer, a graphic designer (I even dabble in video now), web designer.  I like long walks on the beach- I digress…  Writing about yourself is not an easy thing to do…

I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2003 with a degree in Public Relations and  a Minor in Multimedia.  I did my thesis on a company of a family friend called DC Sports and that was my start into the automotive industry.  I was the Marketing Director at DC Sports before I even graduated from Pepperdine.  Less than a year later AEM purchased DC Sports and I came along for the ride.

I started off in Sales and moved around the company, eventually finding my niche in Marketing.  At the same time my friend Steph needed a photographer for his first drift event, so I hopped a plane and went to Sonoma.  Dusted off the old camera and shot why I thought was a cool photo of a car, not what the magazines typically did.  I got them online as soon as we got back and WHAM- people wanted my photos. That was the start to my automotive photography “career.”

After almost 3 1/2 years at AEM, multiple promotions lots of tradeshows, races and frequent flyer miles I decided to take the leap and start my own business.  It has proven to be the best decision I have ever made.  I am extremely thankful for every opportunity that was presented to me along the way.  Each experience has better shaped me for the job I do today- I have the luxury of being not only a designer, but someone that has seen all sides of the Sales / Marketing coin. I honestly feel I can provide a better insight than your typical designer about what customers / dealers / distributors / media want to see.

Since then I have had the opportunity to work with companies like Lexus, Qantas, Hyundai, Scion, Asombroso Tequila, Memphis Car Audio, Belltech Suspensions and many more.  I have helped to breathe a little bit of fresh air into a couple of companies’ stagnant marketing campaigns.  Every day is a new project, a new challenge, a new opportunity.

Thanks for reading, and if you need help with anything, let me know…  I am always down for a new challenge.
